I replaced this demo reel with a colorful version of my online resume, found at 623creative.com. The demo reel was streaming a little choppy and I will readdress the compression when I have time. For now the link at the bottom of this article will take you to my old flash portfolio, which I still dig and hope you will too.

At last, I took a weekend off and focused on putting a small demo reel together to feature some of my recent work, which is mostly from various freelance gigs. The video was all shot with my RCA Small Wonder on the mean streets of Surprise and Sun City – notice the cameo of my Schnauzer, Kaiser Soze.

Some other technical points:

• Screen capture by CamStudio which is free!
• Video Copilot has been a great help as I get more and more comfortable in video post-production.
Some presets used:
– 3D Falloff
– Bloom Transition
– Fast Film Grain

I used the film grain to compensate for the not-so-professional video quality my fun little Small Wonder provides.

Big thanks to Steve Douglas for letting me use his studio for the voice-over work, big improvement.
